California's San Joaquin Valley (SJV) is among the fastest growing, yet one of the most impoverished regions in the state. It is also one of the warmest too, with drastic increases in daytime and nighttime temperature projected over the 21st century. Heat waves, droughts, and flooding will become even more frequent and severe with wide-spread impacts on everything from infrastructure to health.
This guide equips SJV community members and advocates with information and ideas to address the rapidly-evolving climate change issues affecting community members’ health and to prepare for climate challenges.
