Sital Sathia is an energy justice research associate for the Climate & Energy program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she assists with research and analysis to advance understanding of equity and justice as they are interconnected to energy technologies and policies, with a particular interest in integrating qualitative data to shape analysis or policy. Additionally, she supports a team of energy analysts on projects related to UCS energy campaign and program development work, including exploring renewable energy, coal, natural gas, energy efficiency, energy storage, power markets, and grid modernization initiatives, with a focus on how energy policies and decisions burden or benefit people and communities.
