Taylor Pendergrass is the Union of Concerned Scientists' Director of Policy & Advocacy. A veteran campaign strategist, advocate and civil rights attorney, he joined UCS after working for nearly two decades at the American Civil Liberties Union of New York and Colorado and as a political and strategic consultant for a variety of clients.

He is a co-author of the book Six by Ten, and his writing has been featured in Marshall Project, Slate, Stanford Law Review, and Vox, among other outlets. He holds a degree in environmental science & policy from Duke University, and a JD from the University of Colorado School of Law. He is based in Denver, Colorado.
