Sarah Reinhardt is a senior analyst for food systems and health in the Food & Environment program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. In her role, she applies nutrition science and public health research methods to develop policy positions in support of a more healthful, sustainable, and equitable food system.

Prior to joining UCS, Ms. Reinhardt served both the United Way for Southeastern Michigan and the YMCA of Metro Detroit as a nutrition consultant. Ms. Reinhardt is a registered dietitian with a master’s in public health from the University of Michigan, where she also earned a B.A. in women’s studies.
