Liza Gordon-Rogers

Liza Gordon-Rogers is a research associate at the Center for Science and Democracy. She works with the Center's Campaign for a Healthy Democracy on issues of election data transparency, equitable ballot design, and redistricting.

Prior to joining UCS, Dr. Gordon-Rogers served as a visiting assistant professor at Gettysburg College, teaching courses in American government and public policy, focusing on the intersection of race, gender, and class. Her past research includes examining how racist, classist, and sexist political rhetoric influences public opinion toward welfare policies and beneficiaries. Dr. Gordon-Rogers earned an MA and PhD in political science from West Virginia University, and a BA in political science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
