Timely Information About U.S. National Security Policy for Scientists and Engineers
Join SecurityNet Today
SecurityNet is an email-based initiative for scientists to quickly learn about, and effectively influence, developments in international security policy. Our goal is to help you—the busy scientist—stay informed and active on these issues while increasing public understanding of the crucial security policies of our time. SecurityNet and its members have worked hard to reduce the U.S. nuclear arsenal and to oppose the deployment of an ineffective missile defense system. To accomplish this, SecurityNet provides its members with regular email updates, background information, and expert analysis on U.S. nuclear weapons policy, national missile defense, the weaponization of space, and international cooperation. As needed, we also send timely action alerts, allowing you to quickly and easily contact Congress and other policymakers on critical global security issues. You can see our most recent updates and action alerts on this page under Contents (to the right.) SecurityNet is free, non-obligatory, and simple to join. | |
